What MIXRRR is

MIXRRR is a queue for party guests to hand track links to a DJ. It never plays or stores music. It reads a link's public title, artist and cover art and shows them to the DJ and other guests in the same session.

Who is responsible

Data controller: Julius Schmitzer, sole trader (živnostník), IČO 55755071, Kovácsova 345/100, 851 10 Bratislava-Rusovce, Slovakia. Contact: julius@xpauler.com. The DJ who creates a session decides what happens at their event; we run the service.

What we store

  • Guests: the name you type, the links you add with their title, artist and cover, and a random identifier your browser keeps so you stay the same person after a reload. No account, no e-mail, no phone.
  • DJs: the session name, an optional DJ name, and a PIN stored only as a one-way hash.
  • Technical: our hosting providers keep short-lived server logs with IP addresses for security and abuse prevention.

Your name and tracks are visible to everyone in the same session, including on a venue screen if the DJ uses one. Pick a name you are happy to show.

Why, and on what basis

To run the queue you asked to join (performance of the service you requested, GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)) and to keep the service safe from abuse (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f)). We do not profile you, sell data, or show ads.

Cookies and local storage

We use no analytics or marketing cookies, so there is no cookie banner. The DJ screen sets one strictly necessary cookie to keep the DJ signed in. Guest browsers keep a random identifier and your name in local storage so the session survives a reload. Both are needed for the service to work and nothing else.

Third parties

Hosting on Vercel (EU region) and database on Supabase (EU region, Ireland). Cover images load from the music service you linked (Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, SoundCloud or similar), which sees your IP address when the image loads, as with any image on the web. Fonts are served from our own servers.

How long

Until the DJ deletes the session, at the latest 90 days after the session ends, or one year after it was created if it was never ended. Guests can remove their own tracks and requests at any time while the session is active.

Your rights

Access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability and objection under the GDPR. Write to julius@xpauler.com and name the session code. You may also complain to your data protection authority; in Slovakia that is the Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov.

House rules

  • Add only links to music. No abusive names or titles.
  • The DJ may remove anything and end the session at any time.
  • The service is provided as is, free of charge, without warranty.
